Description
A very unusual and interesting plan of ancient Rome filled with exceptional detail of the buildings, walls, roads and aqueducts. The secondary title cartouche includes a river god and the she-wolf suckling the twins Romulus and Remus referring to a legend concerning the foundation of Rome.
