Description
Decorative and unusual historical map of the British Isles. The islands are shown in correct outline but with their Roman and Saxon placenames, and the ancient tribal boundaries. An inset at top left shows the Orkneys and Shetland, while the large title cartouche displays, in two sections, coins of both Roman and Ancient British origin.
